Landlord and Tenant (LTB)
Under Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act both landlords and tenants have certain rights and responsibilities to each other. Small Claim Court
The Ontario Small Claims Court can hear most lawsuits that involve claims for money or the return of property up to a maximum of $35,000. Some controversies that may arise between to parties may be breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, judgement enforcement, or litigation and debt recovery.
Refugee law refers to anyone facing well founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, danger of torture , risked to life and cruel and unusual treatment and punishment grounds. If you feel you, or a loved one may be facing one of these risks if they go back to thier home country or the country where they currently reside, you may be able to seek protection in Canada as a refugee.
